The M++CARD is no ordinary business card. No sir, this thing has memory storage on the back, allowing a potential employer to attach a USB adapter and peruse all the information (resume, portfolio, etc.) stored on the little bastard. They're definitely slicker than the portfolio DVDs I was handing out to companies last year. Of course it didn't help I was giving out the wrong disks the whole time. Portfolio and Pornfolio really look similar when you're reaching into your briefcase for a DVD. Luckily the puffy-paint I used to decorate the tops made a lot of them unreadable.Labels: USB
The Mobile Notetaker attaches to the top of any pad of paper and digitizes your notes for download to a computer later (and translated to editable text). It can store up to 50 standard pages of notes or doodles, and costs $170. It's aimed at solving the same problem of analog vs. digital notes that the FLY Fusion Pentop Computer is attempting. I need one, because I take really good notes at meetings with my boss. Okay, they're more like drawings. My latest is called "Mr. Abelman gets an arrow in his head and squirts blood everywhere". It's a picture of my boss, Mr. Abelman, with an arrow in his head and blood going everywhere. It really got me into creating art around the office to brighten the place up. Unfortunately I got fired when I was caught working on another art project of mine. It was a rather brilliant performance piece I came up with entitled "Me boning the secretary on the boss's desk during his lunch break". Turns out he hadn't gone to lunch yet, just the bathroom.Labels: Mobile notemaker

A super slim phone with a 3" Sony Bravia widescreen display, 3 megapixel auto-focus camera, software to pause, skip, record live TV!, GPS navigation, and Felica cashless electronic payment system. So there you have it. It's a battle between fluid hardware and software design vs. hardware and network superiority. Apple will have a huge uphill battle in Japan if they plan to release the iPhone as it is now. I know some people felt it was sweet justice that a new gadget would see release in America first before Asia but I can definitely say the Japanese are not that impressed. Claude feels the iPhone will sell but only to people who already have Macs and to people concerned about style. As for the rest of the country, he thinks asking a Japanese person to give up mobile digital TV is like asking an American to give up football for soccer. So I asked him what his next phone would be if not the iPhone. He says he has his eye on the Sony Ericsson SO903iTV

Timepieces are supposed to be easy to read so when you come across a watch with an incredibly complex mechanism for telling time, it had better be a looker. Fortunately, the Urwerk 201 fills that role nicely. Set on an odometer style face, a rotating dial with telescoping minute and hour hands tell time. Turn it over and discover a cool feature that reminds you when to get your oil changed and a record of time from the past 100 years. Don't ask me why any person would need to know that - unless you're the time traveler Cable from X-Men.
Of course innovation and luxury come at a price and we know it's expensive if the price needs to be called in.

It is definitely an achievement to overclock memory modules to over 2.0GHz, but in that case the system will only get 2GB of memory, not a lot by today’s standards. Corsair Memory happens to have a solution for those who demand both speed and capacity: its latest 2GB DDR3 memory modules can work at 1600MHz and four of such modules will provide 8GB of rather extreme speed memory.Nowadays many 64-bit operating systems, including Microsoft Windows XP x64 and Microsoft Windows Vista 64-bit, can take advantage of more than 4GB of memory, which may be useful in certain professional applications and in case of usage models that includes many applications running at once. Unfortunately, there are not a lot of high-capacity memory modules capable of operating at speeds higher than 800MHz or 1066MHz.Corsair Memory demonstrated at CeBIT 2008 its 2GB memory modules operating at 1600MHz with CL7 timing in 8GB configuration on Asus P5E3 Premium mainboard based on Intel X48 chipset.Currently it is unclear when the company is able to start selling its PC3-12800 (DDR3 1600MHz) memory modules commercially, nonetheless, the fact that Corsair is capable of showing them off right now means that the devices do work stably enough alreadyLabels: Memory Module

Ducati 1098R
Ducati says it all when it says of its '08 World Superbike machine: "The new 1098R is the most powerful and lightest twin-cylinder bike ever produced by the Borgo Panigale factory, with the highest torque/weight ratio in the sportbike category." This is the 1198cc machine that the World Superbike Championship changed its rules for - the bike that two-time champion Troy Bayliss and second-year rider Max Biaggi will campaign in the 2008 season as the 1098 F08.Purpose-built with racing in mind, the 1098R showcases technology developed by Ducati in the world's two top racing series. An accompanying racing kit makes the Ducati a full-blown racing platform, with its ECU teamed with the DTC (Ducati Traction Control) system. Fitted for the first time to a production Ducati, the DTC is controlled by the rider, who chooses between eight profiles on the MotoGP-sourced instrument display. As you would expect from a bike built for competition on the world's highest stage, the 1098R produces ample power. Frightening power really, as Ducati claims the new mill delivers 180 ponies at 9750 rpm and 98.8 lb-ft of torque at 7750 rpm. In racing kit trim, Ducati ups the peak power claims to 186 horsepower.Generating those impressive numbers is an engine which Ducati claims is "the most powerful twin-cylinder production engine in history." Using the new SBK ruling that pushes Twin displacement to 1200cc, Ducati took its 1098 and increased bore by 2mm and lengthened stroke by 3.2mm. The end results is an oversquare 106mm x 67.9mm configuration that displaces 1198cc.

Ducati 848
Describing the new 848 as "agile and light," Ducati intends its new superbike design to "redefine the middleweight sportbike class." Much closer to the regular 1098 than its middleweight 749 predecessor, at a claimed 369 lbs the 848 is lighter than both designs - 44 lbs lighter than the 749 and 11 lbs less than the 1098. The real difference from its predecessor, however, is the 849cc Testastretta Evoluzione engine.Utilizing the typical L-Twin Ducati configuration, the 848 arrives at its displacement via an oversquare layout of 94mm bore and 61.2mm stroke (compared to a 104mm bore and 64.7mm stroke on the 1098). Compression ratio on the 848 is 12:1. The claimed power output from the smaller-displacement Testastretta Superbike mill is a remarkable 134 horsepower at 10,000 rpm and 70.8 lb-ft torque at 8250 rpm. Those claims coming from the crank, we assume, but still significant gains over the rear-wheel 106 hp and 55 lb-ft readings sourced from the 749 we tested in our 2006 Supersport Shootout. While utilizing the same valve angle from the 1098, the desmodromic system on the 848 uses smaller diameter valves - 39.5mm inlet and 32mm exhaust (42mm inlet, 34mm exhaust on 1098). Like its 1098 sibling, the 848 utilizes MotoGP-derived elliptical throttle bodies, although the cross-section of the bodies is smaller - 56 square mm to the 60 square mm on the 1098.

A regular search engine - even one with maps - will mean you have to manage several separate queries with several separate maps and pages: find cinema listsings; see what's showing at each; try to remember where they are. Then look for restaurants featuring your chosen cuisine; see where they are located; try to bring the maps together to see if they're near each other. Then go look for recommendations or menus about the restaurant.mSpace mobile lets you explore information in more natural ways - exploring context, association, and relations
mSpace mobile makes it easy - and keeps everything in view. mSpace mobile's innovative interface lets you explore dozens of areas of interest while keeping your original query/quary in sight. So you can find where a movie's playing relative to where you're standing right now, and see just how close or not restaurants are that suit your taste. And it you're curious, you can just as easily head off to explore information about different kinds of cuisine, or the biography of an actor in that film you're seeing, all without leaving your initial context

This car appears that it must be at least Turbo OR AWD, if not both ,If you look at the G35S RWD vs G35S AWD you will note the modified bumper for cooling the AWD components. It's only logical that if it applies to the G35 and M35, then the GTR, with significantly more power to deal with, could use it as well. If not however, it is at the very least useful for intercooler mounting, which may be whats barely visible in this pic.Similar tail design. both this car and the gtr drawings are consistent in the design and even placement of both the rear exhaust and rear diffuser.Big brake kit. Seeing that the Z still has brembos, I expect the GTR to have at least 13in 4piston brakes.. if not 14in 6 pistons..This looks like a Japanese car with what appears to be at least one Asian person inside...I assume Nissan Japan has Asian employees for the most part, so that would make sense. The orange secondary tail light indicates that this is a Japanese market car though. That makes sense though, since Japan's main engineering is probably done in Japan

Hokay, For the past 25 months, cars sales in Japan have been declining. In fact comparing July ‘06 with July ‘07 one can see at 10.4% decline in sales. Not only that, saturation of ‘mini-vehicles’ is nudging closer and closer to 50%, gaining about 1.1% from last year. But the biggest news is that for the first time ever the number of cars per household has decreased. It is a bit easier for the Japanese to get rid of their cars; transit runs on time there, trains go everywhere, it’s remarkably easy to use and the Shinkansen can get up to 443km/hr. But the surprising thing is, used cars are cheap in Japan. You can even get them for free as it becomes prohibitively expensive for one to pay the ‘road tax’ on old cars. If you ever go to Australia or New Zealand you’ll see tons of unwanted imported Japanese cars.

Honda will unveil its new FCX hydrogen fuel cell vehicle concept at the Tokyo Motor show . As you can see in the picture above, the new FCX is quite different from the previous generation . The futuristic look and extreme interior space are probably in part due to the fuel cell powertrain which doesn't have the same space and position limitations as a traditional internal combustion engine. The Honda FC Stack uses a metal separator structure that is easier to manufacture and reduces the number of necessary components by 50%, with the aim of increasing stack longevity and reducing manufacturing costs. This system also includes an aromatic electrolyte membrane that reduces manufacturing costs and increases the range between cold and warm temperature operation. The 2006 Honda FCX adds a Honda Satellite-Linked Navigation System that contains locations for all existing hydrogen-fueling stations within its databaseLabels: car
